In FASE, three performers explore social mechanisms and dynamics and invite the audience to participate in their experience. Through circus and dance, the performers build, spin and swirl around each other.

Your body is an amazing ecosystem, living within a little society that again is part of the world.

From identifying the tiniest particle to grasping our entire existence, humans are always busy trying to understand the world. No matter which lens we look through, zooming in or out, life is an ongoing process of change. All we need to do to be a part of that, is breathe. Everything else is optional.

FASE is an invitation to share an imaginary space together. Three performers explore mechanisms and systems with their bodies, merging tangible structures into ecosystems and social dynamics. What does it mean to be part of something? How do we exist together? For a moment we all become a part of the performance FASE. A memory that we facilitate and maintain only for as long as it matters.

Performers & Choreographers
Marta & Kim

Kim and Marta met in 2015. Their different backgrounds in contemporary dance and circus sparked a blooming collaboration. During the last year they have been creating their own movement vocabulary, diving into the possibilities and qualities they find within this symbiosis, exploring their identity across languages. This has naturally led them into creating work together, creating a space where they can go beyond the frames of their disciplines and dive into the physical communication in between them. Now working closely together with Dansateliers (NL), Festival Circolo (NL) and Dansearena nord (NO) they are making work in Norway and the Netherlands.

Performer
Vincent Kollar

Vincent Kollar is a contemporary circus performer. He currently works as a performer, as part of collective projects and is also an avid teacher and rigger. He is an expert of the art of Meteor manipulation, an ancient Chinese circus discipline. His performative work is based on a rich hybridity of circus and dance skills, a great attention to detail and a very natural/organic sense of presence and choreography. His presence fills the stage with a lot of energy and pure passion.
