Held in Toronto each spring, Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival is North America’s largest documentary festival, conference and market.

World premieres and North American premieres are included in the 22 documentaries from Nordic creatives appearing at this year’s Hot Docs Festival. The 2022 Hot Docs Festival will screen films in cinemas across Toronto in accordance with public safety protocols, and offer a selection of festival films online to audiences across Canada. Nordic films will screen across numerous festival programs, including Special Presentations, which will feature Calendar Girls (Sweden) directed by Maria Loohufvud and A House Made of Splinters (Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Ukraine) directed by Simon Lereng Wilmont.
